They were so soft and pliable and I just really couldn’t go back.. Of course learning to be patient and take my time to clean the brushes properly just wasn’t an option, so I figured out a way to get the same results, but with no effort or time required.
I didn’t end up having as much success with it as other people did, but what I. did.end up with was a super sweet-smelling all natural spray that I ended up just spraying around the house to make everything minty fresh.
It was great, but I decided to do a little research and be a little more intentional about making my own homemade air freshener too, while I was thinking about it..I really love a fresh-smelling home.It boosts my mood and makes me feel like all is right in the world.
That being said, I can’t really ignore all the bad things I read about how some of the air fresheners that you can buy in the stores are just loaded with toxic chemicals. There are a lot of more natural and healthy home scent products you can get too, which are great, but sometimes it’s fun to experiment, make your own, and know exactly what it is that you’re spraying into the air you breath.. Making your own air freshener spray is soooo easy too, so why not?.
The ingredients are simple:.
-Essential oil in your choice of scents.Obviously with a bigger vacuum, I never would have been able to do this in the past, but now it’s so easy!.
My whole staircase takes about 5 minutes now!Of course it gets done much more often, which makes me feel like quite the accomplished homekeeper whenever I have to show people my stairs.
🙂 Or at least I’m not ashamed of them anymore!.One of the best parts of vacuuming for me is looking at the canister afterwards to see just how much stuff I picked up that I didn’t realize was there!
